I read this and I can’t help but to feel discouraged. Why do we even do Christmas?

Keep this in mind before you spend a fortune on someone’s Christmas present this year: There’s a pretty good chance they don’t even want it.

A new survey found 15% of people got at least one gift last year they didn’t want. And another 8% can’t even REMEMBER what they got last Christmas. That means there’s about a one-in-four chance your gift will be useless or forgotten.

And the average price of those unwanted or forgettable gifts was $48.
