Welcome to Tangible Tuesday!

“What’s ‘tangible Tuesday’?”, asked the slender man with horn-rimmed glasses in the back row.

Ha! Good question, lean cuisine! Tangible Tuesday comes but once a year. It’s that special day when we do and say things that have a real and lasting effect on the people in our lives. We make our difference with our words and deeds, man.

Here’s an example:

A lady listener called and told Tony he’s bragging about his kids too much. Tony did not take this lying down. He didn’t take it sitting down, leaning or reclining in any way. Tony went old school on this one. Which is to say Tony took umbrage to these heartless comments.

So what happened next?

A miracle, that’s what.

A waterfall of love and support came careening through the switchboard from our beautiful listeners.

“You keep talking about your kids, Tony!” said Rhonda from Rochester.

“Tony, WARM 101.3 FM is one big happy family—your kids are my kids!” beamed Yvette in Yates County.

“I’m not from around here. Do you know where I could meet some other people into Vampire novels?” asked Veronica from Victor.

You see?

WARM 101.3 FM is not simply a broadcasting facility with an assigned location on the electromagnetic spectrum. WARM is family, man! WARM is a network of caring! WARM is LOVE. For example, the blue high-minded and svelte Navi creatures in Avatar? If they listened to a radio station, it would be WARM.

You see, because the bottom line here is this: Tangible Tuesday at WARM is something that lives inside all of us. It’s a living, breathing organism that—if not kept in check—could extend its claws into every fiber of your being.

Think I’m lying? Take a look at this guy. He listened to WARM 72 hours straight. Look at what happened.
