Word For The Weekend: SPARKLE

Word For The Weekend

SPARKLE

[spahr-kuhl]

DEF: To give off or reflect bright moving points of light, as a brilliant gem; to issue in or as if in little sparks, as fire or light. Examples: The candlelight sparkled in the crystal. The flames leaped and sparkled. (hope the fire didn’t start because of an unattended candle) To effervesce, as wine. To be brilliant, lively, or vivacious. May your Holiday Season sparkle: to shine or glisten with little gleams of light. (You’re NOT looking for a solid beam of light. Something you definitely don’t want to see shining in your driver’s side window after a few sparkling wines at the office holiday party.)
