Next To New Sale:
When: May 5th thru May 9th
Where: Blessed Sacrament School Auditorium 534 Oxford St
What: The sale is coming up this May. Donations will be accepted April 22 thru the 26th 10 to 5 weekdays, 10 to 4 Sat and Sun at Blessed Sacrament. The Next To New Sale is popular because of generous Rochestarians who want to ensure that their gently used items will find new homes and new uses. Proceeds from the sale support the ministries and community outreach of Blessed Sacrament, St. Mary’s and St. Boniface parishes.

American Red Cross Needs Your Blood:
When: Ongoing through March

What: The American Red Cross is facing a severe blood shortage – with donations down around 35% over the past month. They’re asking eligible donors to make an appointment to give blood as soon as possible. People who donate now through Jan. 25 will automatically be entered for a chance to win a trip for two to the Super Bowl! The winner and a guest will get free tickets, access to in-stadium pregame activities, round-trip airfare, three night hotel accommodations and a $1,000 gift card for expenses.

Flower City Challenge:
When: Sunday, April 26th 6:30am – 12:30pm
Where: Starts and finishes at Parcel 5, Downtown
What: The Flower City Challenge, presented by Rochester Regional Health, 5k, Half Marathon and Kids 5k. Now offering wheelchair and 2 person push-chair divisions. The course takes you through some of Rochester’s most picturesque and historic neighborhoods. There’s a post race party with live music from The Uptown Groove and a Kidz Zone. Monies raised benefit the Rochester Regional Health Foundation- supporting local patient care initiatives and programs.
