Park Ave Summer Stroll:
When: Saturday, August 1 from 10a till 6p
Where: Along Park Ave from Alexander to Culver
What: Its the 3rd annual summer stroll! This years stroll will include local artisans and showcase the uniqueness of the avenue. Restaurants, retail establishments and services will be featured. Artist vendors, along with childrens’ activities, will be located on the RMSC grounds- accessible from Park. Free parking is available at the Park Berkeley Plaza lot (606 Park Ave) during the event — compliments of the Park Avenue Merchants Association. This years stroll benefits 13Thirty Cancer Connect.

Lee Lucas Memorial Poker Run:
When: Saturday, August 15th Registration begins at 10am
Where: 290 Salt Rd in Webster.
What: It’s the 10th annual Lee Lucas Memorial Poker Run celebrating the life of Lee Lucas in supporting the Fr. Lawrence Tracy Advocacy Center which provides help and support for those dealing with addiction. $30 per bike, $40 with passenger. After party at Shriners Damascus Shriners Center in Webster. Food by Dinosaur BBQ and live music by The Transport.

Spencerport’s Music On The Canal:
When: Sunday evenings thru August 30th from 6:30 til 8:30 pm
Where: Fireman’s Field at the Clyde Carter Memorial Gazebo 75 S. Union Street.
What: The Village of Spencerport hosts “Music on the Canal” during the summer- highlighting local bands…Sunday evenings thru August 30th. It’s free and open to the public. Bring your lawn chairs! For a complete listing of the bands performing, click on the link below:

Blood Crisis! Red Cross Needs Your Blood Now:

What: The American Red Cross is in the middle of one of its worst blood donation shortages ever. For only the second time in history, they’ve declared a “national blood crisis,” dropping to a four year summer low. All blood types are needed now- especially type O. Anyone who donates through the month of August will get a free $20 Amazon gift card.
