A mother of 3 beautiful daughters, Joan hails from the Finger Lakes area. A Rochesterian for the past 36 years, Joan has come from in front of the camera lens to behind the scenes and ‘painted’  Upstate N.Y. woman more beautiful for more than a decade. Working for NYC-industry giant Trish McEvoy Cosmetics, Joan became a sought-after makeup artist in the region over the past 20 years. Semi-retired from the makeup industry presently, has allowed her to focus on becoming an entrepreneur, and launch 3 small businesses. Her accomplishments have always focused on female-based retail, marketing and event planning careers.

 

Area high school senior proms will be taking place throughout the area in the coming weeks, and finding that special dress for a young woman’s big night doesn’t have to break the bank. Thank You Fairy Godmothers of Greater Rochester for your annual PROM DRIVE and Event that assists hundreds of high school girls who qualify for this incredible PROM DRESS  program providing teen women an affordable way to attend their high school prom. There are several hundred new and gently used prom dresses, formal wear, clothing, shoes and accessories worth thousands of dollars that have been donated. The mission is quite simple and that is to make sure that every young lady in the community has the opportunity to experience their high school prom feeling like a princess and that they are the most important in the world if only for that moment.  Self-esteem and inner strength is what we advocate for each and every young lady by providing them with a personal shopper and a “Cinderella” like experience at our annual Prom Dress Fair.  A new Event to “Make Dreams Come True”
